President's message
Prifoods was established in April 2008, merging four companies in broiler, Hypor, and poultry processing machine businesses.
We stand on three businesses: a broiler business in which we engage in and manage all processes from breeding, hatching, rearing, to processing and marketing poultry; a Hypor business in which we breed and market Hypor pork and improve their breed; and a GORDEX business in which, we mainly introduce machines related to poultry processing from the west, and install, improve, and maintain the machines.
With increased public concern for food safety and security, as well as the increase of health-oriented consumers, we believe that the demand for domestic meat, and especially that of domestic chicken, will remain strong. At the same time, we are facing issues that we need to overcome for business continuity, such as the aging of facilities and workforce shortage.
Despite such circumstances, our business sectors are improving and developing products and services daily.
In the broiler business, we have enhanced efforts, such as packaging chicken in the location of their origin, offering one-serving packaging, and manufacturing processed products, while renovating farm and factory facilities and automating them. In the Hypor business, we have been renovating pigpens to further improve quality and contribute to the development of our clients' businesses. In the GORDEX business, we will enhance existing machines by installing new processing machines of the next generation.
We will continue to work on producing products and services that will meet the needs of our clients and consumers for many years to come.
